2345 Grand was designed by legendary architect Mies van der Rohe and was completed in 1975. The office tower features a two-story lobby clad in travertine, terrazzo and bronze, and the project is surrounded by a 60,000-square-foot plaza. In addition to being strategically situated in Crown Center, the world headquarters for Hallmark Cards, 2345 Grand is adjacent to two prestigious Kansas City hotels, a three-story mall, and it overlooks Washington Park and the nearby Science City at Union Station, which Hines restored and renovated.
